Your first week with Influgen
A day-by-day path from a new account to steady use: create your influencer, connect where they post, review posts, ask for changes and decide how much to hand over.

How to use this plan
Take the days at your own pace. The plan assumes your account is active. If you are still waiting for your spot, do Day 1 now and carry on when the email arrives. See Your free trial and account activation. To learn where things are, see Find your way around Influgen.
Day 1: Create your influencer and connect Instagram
- Create your first influencer. It takes a few minutes, on the web or on your phone.
- On the web you may land on Choose your plan. To stay on your free trial, press Continue with your free trial.
- Connect Instagram so approved posts have somewhere to go. Other platforms can wait. See Choose where your influencer posts.
- On your iPhone, install the app and say yes to notifications, so you hear when posts are ready.
Day 2: Review your first posts
Open Today. A new influencer starts with every post waiting there for your decision. Check Posts to, then press Approve. A reel arrives as a storyboard: press Generate video, then Approve video when it is ready. See Review and approve posts.
Day 3: Ask for a change, then for a post of your own
Press Edit under a post, choose a quick change or write your own words, and press the Redraw button. Then press New post idea and describe what you want. See Ask for a change, a redo or a new post and Where your influencer's ideas come from.
Day 4: Talk to your influencer
Open Chat in the left menu, or the Chats tab on your phone. Ask for a post, or get to know them. See Chat with your influencer and Meet your influencer's team.
Day 5: Check the Calendar
Open Calendar to see what goes out and when. Pick a post to change its time, post it now or unschedule it. See The content calendar and scheduling.
Day 6: Decide how much to hand over
Open your influencer's page and choose Autopilot. Once you have approved several posts you liked, you can turn on Posts without asking me. Influgen asks "Post without your review?", because posts then go live without you seeing them first. Comments and DMs have their own switches. Day 7: Check your numbers and your trial
- On your influencer's page, open Performance. Numbers appear once posts go live on a linked account.
- Check your credits. See How credits work.
- Your free trial lasts 7 days from when your spot opens, and we email you about two days before it ends. To keep going, see Plans, upgrading, downgrading and cancelling.
After the first week
A light routine is enough. Open Today when a notification arrives, approve or change what is waiting, and glance at Calendar now and then.
Tip: If nothing seems to be going out, see My influencer isn't posting.
