Chat with your influencer
Talk to your influencer in their own voice on the web or your phone. Ask for ideas or a post, answer their questions, and see what happens when they are paused.

Open the chat
On the web, press Chat in the left menu. It opens your influencer's page on Talk to and their name. You can also type in the Message (name)… bar at the top of Today.
With All influencers chosen, Chat opens the first influencer. For another, pick them in the switcher or press their name next to Chat with on Today.
On your phone, open Chats, stay on Your influencers, and tap a row. The message bar on Today and the Chat button on an influencer's page open the same chat.
At the top you see where your influencer is and what they are doing.
What you can ask
Anything about their brand: ideas, hooks, captions, what to post tomorrow. You can also:
- Ask for a post in your own words.
- Share a TikTok or Instagram video link and ask for their version of it.
- Attach up to three files: pictures, videos or documents.
Replies arrive as short messages, one after another. If one takes a while, you see "(name) is still typing…".
Chat, New post idea or Edit?
- Chat is a conversation. Your influencer can pass a request to their team, but chat never approves a post. You approve in Today, unless Posts without asking me is on.
- New post idea is a short form: pick a format, describe the post, and it comes back drawn with a caption. See Ask for a change, a redo or a new post.
- Edit under a post changes that one post.
Chatting itself doesn't use credits. Approving and redrawing pictures still do.
When your influencer writes first
They can start a conversation:
- Question: they ask before deciding something only you can answer. Tap one of the answers.
- Nudge: a reminder when posts have waited in Today for a day.
- Check-in: a small update or idea.
Unread ones also show in the Messages card on Today. To change how often they write, open Account, Notifications, Messages from your influencers and choose Off, Rarely, Sometimes or Often. On your phone, look under Push notifications. With Off they still answer you.
Unread messages
On the web, a number appears beside Chat and is added to the number beside Today. Opening the chat clears it.
On your phone, the dot on the Chats tab lights up and the influencer's row gets a dot. Opening Chats, then the chat, clears them.
Only messages your influencer starts count, not their answers to you.
If your influencer is paused
A paused influencer can't chat. Where the message bar was, you see "(name) is paused." and Resume. Press it to talk again. See Let your influencer post on their own, or pause them.
Tip: If a message fails, the web shows Not delivered and Retry. New conversation, at the top of the web chat, starts fresh.
