Where fans' messages are
On the web, open Fan inbox. The page is titled Inbox, and its tabs Comments and Messages follow the influencer switcher. On your phone, open Chats and switch to Fans, which has Drafted and New comments. DM conversations are on the web.
Comments come from Instagram. TikTok doesn't share comments with apps yet. Instagram is checked regularly, and again whenever you open the page.
Reply to a comment
On the web, comments waiting for a reply come first and say Needs you. Under each one:
- Write a reply and press Send reply.
- Or leave the box empty and press Let (name) reply. Your influencer writes a short reply in their voice, and it is posted at once, without a preview.
On your phone, open New comments, write under Write a reply and tap Send reply.
Reply to a DM
Open Messages and pick a conversation. Each message shows its time and status. Write under Write the reply yourself and press Send reply.
Pause auto-replies stops your influencer answering that conversation. Resume auto-replies turns it back on.
What your influencer answers on their own
On their page, Autopilot has two switches for fans: Answers DMs and Replies to comments.
DMs. With Answers DMs off, DMs wait for you in the inbox. To have them answered, also open Edit details, find DM responder, switch on each platform and press Save DM responder. By default your influencer waits 90 seconds and sends at most three replies an hour in one conversation. Change that with Response delay (seconds) and Max replies / hour. Replies are written in their voice from the recent messages. You can add a Greeting message and Banned topics.
Automatic DM replies use a very small amount of credits (DM replies in your credit history). If credits run out, replies can stop and messages wait for you. See How credits work.
Comments. The Auto-replies panel in Comments decides, with rules for each influencer. Nothing is answered until Auto-replies is on and How often isn't Manual only. You can also set Reply to, Most replies per day, words to Never reply to comments with, and Platforms. Press Save rules. A comment that fails the rules stays Needs you. To keep every comment for yourself, leave Auto-replies off.
Messages that wait for you
DMs about self-harm, explicit or hateful content, abuse or a banned topic are never answered automatically, and neither are ones your influencer decides need a person. The conversation shows Review required until you reply.
In a DM, a reply with an email address, phone number or link, even yours, isn't sent as written. A short line pointing to the verified profile or link in bio goes instead.
A paused influencer sends no automatic replies. Comments and DMs are kept for you. See Let your influencer post on their own, or pause them.
Drafted replies on your phone
On the Drafted list, each reply is marked Draft reply. Tap Send reply to send it as written, Edit to change it (then Done), or the X to dismiss it.
