A post failed to publish
A post says Failed on the calendar or you got a Post failed alert. See what the message means and how to send it again.

Symptom: a post says Failed, or you got a Post failed notification.
Why this happens
Each failed post shows a message that says why. These are the common ones.
The account needs you to sign in again. "(Platform) is not connected for this user." or "access token is unavailable. Reconnect the account." or "authorization expired. Reconnect the account."
A daily limit was reached. "YouTube daily quota is exhausted until" a time, or "Pinterest daily rate limit is exhausted until" a time. Influgen tries again by itself a few times.
Instagram turned the media down. "Instagram rejected the media during processing." or "Instagram media processing timed out."
The post doesn't suit the platform. "TikTok publishing requires a generated video asset", "YouTube Shorts publishing requires a generated vertical video asset" or "X/Twitter publishing supports image posts only." Videos go to TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and photos and carousels go to X and Pinterest.
TikTok is waiting for you. "Choose who can see this TikTok post before it goes out." Confirm the post in Today.
Pinterest has no board. "No Pinterest board is available for publishing." Choose a board.
How to fix it
- Find the post. On the web, open Calendar and pick the day, or open your influencer's page, choose Posts, and open the Live filter. On your phone, open Calendar or your influencer's Posts.
- Read the message under the post.
- Fix the cause. Sign in again (see Reconnect an account that stopped working), confirm the TikTok post (see Connect TikTok and confirm each post), or choose a Pinterest board (see Connect Pinterest and choose a board).
- Press Try again. On the web it asks "Try posting again?". Or press Reschedule to pick a new time.
- If a platform can't take this kind of post, switch it off for the post under Posts to, or press the X to unschedule it.
Note: If a sign-in ran out, your approved post stays approved. Reconnect and it can go out.
