What TikTok takes
TikTok posts are videos. Photos and carousels don't go to TikTok. Every video is 10 to 30 seconds long.
Connect TikTok
On the web:
- Open Account, then the Connections tab.
- On the TikTok card, press Connect.
- Sign in on TikTok and approve.
- You come back to Influgen and the card says Connected.
On your phone, open Account and settings from the influencer switcher, tap Other platforms, then tap Connect under TikTok.
TikTok connects once for your account. Then check that TikTok is switched on for your influencer. See Choose where your influencer posts.
Confirm every TikTok post
TikTok needs you to decide who sees each video. So a TikTok post never goes out until you confirm it.
When a post is waiting, Today shows a card called TikTok posts waiting for you. Press Review.
In Post to TikTok:
- Check the caption. It can be up to 2,200 characters.
- Under Who can see this video, choose one. Nothing is chosen for you. The options depend on your account: Everyone, Friends, Followers or Only me.
- Under Allow people to, switch on Comment, Duet or Stitch if you want them. They start off. One that is off in your TikTok settings is greyed out.
- If the video promotes a brand, switch on Disclose post content. Choose Your brand for your own business, or Branded content for someone else's. Branded content can't be private.
- Press Post to TikTok.
You see "Sent to TikTok. It can take a few minutes to show on the profile."
If something is off
- This video is longer than this account can post: the window shows the maximum for your account.
- Last try failed: the window shows why. Fix it and press Post to TikTok again.
- The session needs to be refreshed: see Reconnect an account that stopped working.
