Connect Pinterest and choose a board
Link Pinterest on the web, then pick the board your influencer's pins go to. Pinterest takes photos and carousels.

What Pinterest takes
Pinterest gets photos and carousels. Reels don't go to Pinterest.
Note: You connect Pinterest on the website. The phone app doesn't have a Pinterest connection screen.
Connect Pinterest
- Open Account, then the Connections tab.
- On the Pinterest card, press Connect.
- Sign in on Pinterest and approve.
- You come back to Influgen. The card says Connected.
Pinterest connects once for your account. Then check that Pinterest is switched on for your influencer. See Choose where your influencer posts.
Choose a board
Every pin goes onto a board. After you connect, select the Pinterest card to see Boards:
- Workspace default is the board used for all your influencers.
- Influencer override lets the influencer you picked in the switcher use a different board. Leave it on Use workspace default if you don't need one.
You can also press Details on the card. That page lists the boards Influgen found, under Available destinations. Boards appear once the account is connected and synced. If it still says No boards yet, contact support.
If a pin doesn't go out
- "Connect Pinterest boards before publishing a pin" or "No Pinterest board is available for publishing": choose a Workspace default board as above.
- "Pinterest daily rate limit is exhausted until" followed by a time: Pinterest allows a limited number of pins a day. The post tries again after the reset.
- "The current Pinterest session needs to be refreshed before scheduled pins can publish": press Reconnect Pinterest. See Reconnect an account that stopped working.
