Give your influencer a voice
Every influencer gets a voice designed from their profile. Design a new one, clone your own from a recording, or remove a clone. Voices speak in talking videos and ads.

Your influencer already has a voice
You don't have to set one up. The first time a video needs a voice and none was chosen, Influgen designs one from your influencer's profile: their age, where they are from and live, and how they talk. This doesn't use your credits. You can change the voice any time.
The voice is heard wherever your influencer speaks in a video, including ads. See What your influencer says in videos.
Note: How (name) talks on the Persona page is how your influencer writes and chats. The speaking voice is How (name) sounds.
Design a new voice
Designing and cloning a voice are on the website only.
- Open your influencer's page, choose Persona and find How (name) sounds.
- Press Design a voice, or New voice if you designed one before. The button shows the cost in credits.
- Tap a direction such as Warmer, or write your own (up to 400 characters). What we design from shows where the voice starts.
- Press Design three voices and confirm. It takes about 30 seconds.
- Listen to Voice 1, Voice 2 and Voice 3. Press Use this voice on one. It is then tagged In use.
Keeping a voice is free, and the current voice stays until you pick. If none fits, press Design three more. If the voices can't be designed, nothing is charged.
Clone your own voice
Cloning needs the Pro or Agency plan. On other plans you see Upgrade for cloning.
- Open your influencer's Autopilot page, press Edit details and find Voice identity.
- Press Upload samples (MP3 or WAV) or Record sample to use your browser's microphone. Together the samples need to run 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Keep them clean and mostly one speaker.
- Press Create clone. Clone cost shows the credits. The status goes from Processing to Ready. Press Preview cloned voice to listen.
The Terms allow cloning only from recordings of yourself, a fictional character you made, or an adult who gave explicit, documented consent.
Use your own voice from the start
When you create an influencer from your own video, talk in it, then tick Give her my voice, cloned from this video. This works on the web and on your phone, and the credits are shown beside it. With too little speech, your influencer gets a designed voice instead. See Create your first influencer.
Change or remove a voice
- New voice designs another one. Replace clone clones again from new samples.
- Remove clone deletes it (Cancel clone while processing, Clear failed clone after a failure).
- A ready clone takes priority over a designed voice. Remove the clone and the designed voice speaks again.
Talking videos
Open Autopilot and look under Extras. Talking videos reads "(name) can make videos speaking to the camera." when on and "No talking videos." when off. It saves as soon as you flip it. See Let your influencer post on their own, or pause them.
